Мне вот отчего-то всегда казалось, что переход от Ветхого завета к Новому, приход на Землю Христа, его искупительная жертва есть в некотором смысле эволюция Бога в сторону от карающего к милосердному.

Ну то есть если "Бог Авраама, Исаака и Иакова" - это немного из другой религии.
Но если нет - объясните мне - на пальцах - в чем новизна Нового завета?
