Is Mohit the new man in Priyanka Chopra's life ?

2013-02-09 13:09:00 (читать в оригинале)

Priyanka Chopra generally does not answer when asked about her marriage and avoids the question by stating that she is keenly waiting for her perfect life partner. However now it seems like her perfect and appropriate match have been found by her own family members, and reportedly the couple are also quite okay with it. As per the reports, Priyanka's mausi (maternal aunt) has found a suitable man for her niece. The lucky guy is no other than the heartthrob of small screen, the most lovable Mohit Raina, who enacts the role of Lord Mahadev in the popular TV show Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev. Born and brought up in Jammu, where he did his schooling, he left J&K after graduating with a degree in commerce. He was placed in Top 5 in Grasim Mr. India 2006 competition.With a blush on her face, PC herself revealed that her aunt is quite smitten by the omniscient yogi and considers him as a very well-behaved and honest young man, who is also an extremely good actor.
On the other hand, when Mohit Raina aka Mahadev was informed about the same, he was completely speechless and had no words to express his feelings. All he managed to speak softly that he is much grateful to PC's maasi for considering him as a suitable life partner for the Bollywood Diva! Now let us wait and watch whether Priyanka would consider her Mausi's choice seriously or not.

Is Sherlyn out of Kamasutra 3D ?

2013-02-09 13:09:00 (читать в оригинале)

The video of Kamasutra 3D which went viral on internet and was loved by Sherlyn's fans, it seems the director Rupesh Paul is quite miffed by Sherlyn's sharing of this video without his permission.

I was shocked to see the video,” director Rupesh Paul said in an interview, “While sharing the video, I had specified it’s not for public viewing, but she still went ahead and uploaded it without our permission.” Paul also said that because of this mishap, now the makers have started hunting for a new face (and body) for Kamasutra 3D. And have shortlisted Eva Longoria and Mila Kunis so far. And the playboy lady could not digest this news and took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to express her anger.
"e;Agar Mr.Paul ko Mila ya Eva ke saath Kamasutra 3D banaani hai toh hamey sign kyun kiya ?????? Tab kya Mila ya Eva ke paas dates nahi they??"e; Sherlyn tweeted.

And she continued with some more tweets, "e;KS3D Photoshoot Video ke liye Sherlyn aur KS3D Film ke liye koi angrezi abhineytri??? Wah!! Kya Baat! Ghar ki Murgi Daal Baraabar Hoti hai.."e;
"e;If KS3D is destined to be mine..then no power on Earth can take it away from me..Best Wishes to Mila/Eva/other names on Mr.Paul's wish list."e;

Well sherlyn, now your real bold avatar has come out. Kudos!

Salman : Get Shahrukh if you want over-acting

2013-02-09 13:09:00 (читать в оригинале)

The b-town heartthrob just got into his bad boy character once again at an ad shoot and shot back at an ad director for giving him instructions and telling him what to do.

Salman Khan was shooting for an ad with Ammna Sheriff in Mumbai. It's a known fact that Salman doesn't like any interference when he is working and he too maintains the balance by not interfering in the directors work. At one point Salman was supposed to walk towards Ammna. Salman did the act to his best but however the director was not satisfied and asked Salman to walk again. Salman shot back and said, agar walk karani hai toh kisi model ko bula lete' ( if you wanted someone to  walk then you should have called a model).
This wasn't enough when the director was not satisfied with the expressions Tiger gave and asked Salman to do it again. Salman reportedly hit back once more saying: "e;agar acting karani hai toh Hrithik ko bula lete....(for acting you should have called hrithik) stunning the whole unit Salman immediately made the whole unit sink under his storm giving them no time to repair, Salman said, aur agar overacting karani ho toh Shahrukh ko le lete'..(for overacting you should have called Shah Rukh Khan)"e;.

Seems like filmdom's favourite bad boy is back in form. Warning for all!

NEW DELHI: India executed a Kashmiri separatist on Saturday over his role in a deadly attack on parliament in 2001 after his final mercy plea was rejected by President Pranab Mukherjee, officials said.

Mohammed Afzal Guru, a former fruit seller, was hanged at Tihar Jail at around 7:30am (0200 GMT), becoming only the second person to be hanged in India in nearly a decade, officials said.

“Yes, he has been hanged,” Home Secretary R.K. Singh said in brief comments to AFP.

Guru was found guilty of conspiring with and sheltering the militants who attacked the parliament in December 2001.

He was also held guilty of being a member of the banned Islamist group Jaish-e-Mohammed, which fights against Indian rule in the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, where a separatist conflict has claimed up to 100,000 lives.

Five armed rebels stormed India’s parliament in New Delhi on December 13, 2001, killing eight police officers and a gardener before they were shot dead by security forces.

A journalist wounded in the attack died months later.

Sources in the intelligence wing of the Indian army said they had been instructed to prepare for a possible backlash in Kashmir after Guru’s execution.

“We were informed that Afzal Guru will be hanged on Saturday and therefore we must tighten security,” a senior army official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

A former chief minister of Kashmir once warned that executing him would lead the country to “go up in flames” because of a backlash from rebels in Indian Kashmir.

Guru’s conviction, which has been delayed on several occasions, was both highly political and hotly contested. He described his imprisonment as a “gross miscarriage of justice” in his mercy appeal to the president.

A group of activists including lawyers have campaigned for him, saying his trial had major problems, including fabricated evidence presented by the police and the lack of proper legal representation.

Protesters against his “unfair” conviction in Muslim-majority Kashmir have held demonstrations demanding his release, while right-wing Hindu activists have long demanded his execution to send a message to other potential attackers.

The widows of the police officers killed in the attack handed back their posthumous gallantry medals and said they would only take them back once Guru was sent to the gallows.

Guru was initially convicted along with Shaukat Hussain, a former student at Delhi University and S.A.R. Geelani, a New Delhi college teacher, who were also handed the death sentence, reserved for the “rarest of rare” cases in India.

Their crimes were described as “horrendous, revolting and dastardly” by the Indian judge who tried them.

Guru’s wife, Afsan Guru, who was found guilty of not disclosing information to police, was also sentenced to five years in prison but had her conviction overturned on appeal.

Geelani was also freed on appeal after two-years of imprisonment, adding to the doubts about the initial trial.

Executions are only carried out for extremely rare cases in India and Guru’s would be only the second since 2004.

The sole surviving gunman from the 2008 Mumbai attacks, Pakistani-born Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, was executed on November 21 last year.
