I, Me Aur Main (Music review), Hindi – Sachin Jigar, Gourov Dasgupta, Raghav Sachar & Falak Shabir

Sachin Jigar’s reworking of Chaalbaaz’s Naa jaane is sufficiently funky thanks to oomphy vocals by Anushka Manchanda. Their other 2 songs – Capuchino, a cool offering with interesting vocals by Abhishek Nailwal and a neat Celtic hook, and Darbadar, a wonderfully arranged mod qawali of sorts, superbly sung by Monali Thakur – work very well too! Falak Shabir’s Saajna has a functional, familiar, Pakistani-pop-ballad tune and middling vocals. Gourov Dasgupta’s Meri jaaniye is annoyingly outdated barring the likeable guitar backing, while Raghav Sachar’s Nasha nasha is even worse – staid in every aspect! Sachin Jigar help the soundtrack stand out!
