This morning I had another morning tea (hehehe!) with three other fantastic friends. As you can imagine, I have to be very careful with my waistline. Today it was the first time I was baking mini #montblanc  cakes. I had planed this few weeks ago when I saw beautiful chestnuts at the market. It took me one week to mature the chestnut paste and #marronsglaces  (candied chestnuts). My guinea pigs looked pretty happy though ;). I will try to bake other variations of Mont-Blanc style cakes.
    For this photo, the issue is that the Mont-Blanc cakes are not the most beautiful cakes (all is in the flavor). A good idea would have been to have chestnuts in their burs for decoration. Unfortunately, I had nothing like that, so I used what I had to tell a story that was more visually appealing. I simply used the red/pink color of raspberries and  #macarons  that were in the fridge, and the red/white/green colors of the flowers that were offered to me . Also the complex shape of the Mont-Blanc reminds a bit the complex shape of the flowers or some kinds of plant roots.  A touch of winter in Queensland ;-p. I used my nexus five with natural indoor light for the picture. No modification/no filter.
