Technical Outlook and Chart Setups:
As depicted above, the price remains locked within the cone consolidation structure. A break above 1620.00 level shall be extremely bullish while a breakdown of 1540.00 level shall prove bearish. There is enough evidence from the past that the yellow metal is consolidating in a tight range before breaking out. We recommend traders to play between 1540/50 and 1580/90 levels in the near term.
Trading Recommendations:
Scalp between 1540/50 (Support) and 1580/90 (Resistance) for now. Trade aggressively on a break on either side of the cone (above).

The bullish structure discussed earlier did not change much, except for the fact that the pullback hasn’t materialized for now. A new high is in place at 1.5337 yesterday and we need to respect the move. Immediate support comes at 1.5175 levels now. We recommend buying intraday dips now. The near term uptrend remains intact for now. Bulls are aiming above 1.5400 level now.
Trading Recommendations:
Buy on intraday dips, stop below 1.5170, target above 1.54 level.

As we can see, the spot rate is currently checking the intermediate resistance of its medium term bearish channel at 97.10 and seems to initiate a decline. However, a break through these levels will release good potential and will be able to reach the upper limit of this one to 97.50.

Technical indicators do not provide clears signals but until the resistance is not broken the assumption of a decline is most likely. Bollinger bands have greatly tightened in recent days showing a decline in volatility and the imminence of a violent movement.

According to previous events the market will provide a bullish opportunity as soon as the spot rate has broken through its resistance of 97.10 with the 1st objective at 97.50 and then at 97.70. A break through 96.90 will invalidate this scenario.
